Aristana

Nowadays, being fluent in English is practically a must, and it has encouraged Aristana to study English at the university. Aristana confides he doesn't want to become a burden to his parents, so he is thinking of his future by studying and preparing himself for a professional career.

"My mother has always been a wood carver, she started long before she married my father. Inspired by my mother's energy, I started to learn to carve when I was 14 years old. However, I don't want to make something similar to my mother's style.

"I prefer making chopsticks from several different materials, featuring a carved design on the top. My intention is to create functional objects that are also collectible. My favorite themes are Balinese flora and fauna.

"Everyday I pray to God that I may finish my studies successfully and make my family proud of me. I also hope people will love and enjoy my products."
